Job spec: Menkind wanted an offering to reflect its new website and premium-location
stores. So we created a catalogue based around the 'Gifts for Men' range. An average
of seven items per page within this 48 page catalogue optimised product concentration
and hit the low 100gm Post Office mail out rate.
A clean consistent look comes courtesy of smart cut-out images, accentuated by post-production
shadows. And copy is written as if by a woman shopping for her man (or men), to add
a humorously sexy angle. This is our third edition, and it has grown in size and
pagination as the company has prospered. The very first catalogue went from concept
to print delivery in under 4 weeks!
